About Me
Hello! I’m Tom, and I spent my previous life working in the wildlife film and television industry in various roles for almost two decades. I specialised as a wildlife cameraman and worked all around the world for most of the main channels and streamers, including BBC, Netflix, and National Geographic. If of interest, you can see more of my previous life here: www.tomosborn.co.uk
A spinal injury I sustained in my younger years began to worsen with age, and regretfully, I was forced to take a step away from international camera work in 2024. But where one door closed, another opened, and whilst my life of wildlife adventures for film and TV had come to an end, I met Zoe and Murphy, and a new life of dog adventures began!
It wasn’t long before I had met many of the wonderful characters that make up Clevedon Dog Squad, and I realised that I could use my wildlife camera skills to help capture the playful, soulful and curious behaviour of the diverse breeds and individuals who make up the squad.
My skillset is filming animals in their natural habitat, in nature, in the wild. There will be no studio shoots here (at least for now). What I enjoy the most is the challenge of capturing dogs doing what they do best when out on walks, whether it's playing around, rolling in mud, splashing through water, or just sitting comfortably contemplating the great canine mysteries of the world!
My goal is to bring out the true character of each dog and capture moments that last many doggy lifetimes.
